Just in case you had the slightest doubt about what Elon Musk is doing with X/Twitter, look at this brief thread. He is one of the true monsters of our era, and he uses X/Twitter to guide his fellow right-wing extremists to ever-more-extreme places.

If you are still there, you should be ashamed.

It's so difficult to pick the story that uniquely demonstrates how low and corrupt our "mainstream" media became in the past generation, but the New York Times' recent love letter to Olivia Nuzzi has to be in the running.

This guy runs the Windows unit at Microsoft, and he's telling you that the company intends to infiltrate "AI" into every aspect of the operating system.

If you use Windows, this is an injection of a living, self-replicating virus into your digital existence.

Yes I use Linux.

The gaslighter-in-chief denies the obvious truth of grocery inflation with a "it's only beef and we're taking care of that" misdirection.

No pushback from CBS "News" journalist.

The New York Times still hasn't corrected its BS headline about what it calls a De Blasio "Impersonator" -- a man who has the almost-same name as the former NYC mayor and was quoted in another newspaper's story.

The entire episode exemplifies journalistic malpractice, in two cities.

WashPost adopts White House framing "cartel strikes" without caring whether it's true or not.

Here's one Democrat who's not afraid of his own shadow -- calling out America's Gestapo (aka Ice) for its attacks, which are going to escalate massively, on our nation:

Most Democrats -- and basically ALL of Big Media -- are too cowardly to yell about what is happening.

Trump regime is demolishing part of the White House East Wing to make room for Dear Leader's fascist monument to himself. (Of course the regime lied when it said no such damage would occur, and hasn't gotten required permits.)

Is there a better metaphor for their attitude toward democracy?

National Car Rental's terms & conditions are 200 pages long. Don't believe me? See for yourself:

The length tells you all you need to know.

This screenshot Ars Technica's homepage headlines the other day demonstrates how completely the tech and media giants are enshittifying what they've created.

So Big Journalism is definitely in the tank for the Republican spin on the shutdown.
October 3, 2025 at 12:17 AM
This is how the New York Times pretends to do journalism -- treating the Trump/Hegseth fascist military event as just routine partisan politics.

The Times will go down in history as a quisling operation, and its bosses will be remembered for their cowardice.

"Misleading talking points" -- GMAFB.

As usual, the New York Times refuses to call blatant lies what they are -- apparently because they come from Republicans, who lie about almost everything but always, always get the Paper of Record's benefit of the doubt.

CNN's media critic, Brian Stelter, says Disney's CEO is in a "no-win" situation because he has to choose between Trump and his company's reputation.

Think about that -- the notion that choosing integrity means losing. Think about what it says about American […]

Federal judge is upset that Trump regime fabricated evidence and more while breaking other laws, but says he's not going to do anything to punish any lawbreaker. He talks semi-tough but, in the end, is a coward.

Incredibly sad to watch the once-great Washington Post flush its integrity down the toilet this way.

Example of something posted from Bluesky that I won't click on, because there's no description of what it's about. Curious but not that curious.

As far as I can find, only one major journalism organization -- the Guardian -- published an accurate and contextual headline describing Trump's illegal executive order on voting.

What made the difference? The Guardian added the word "unconstitutional".

Come on, journos, do your damn jobs.

This is the kind of headline that makes me so disgusted with journalism right now: "After six months in ICE custody, Charlotte woman chooses voluntary removal to Honduras" --

ICE kidnapped and imprisoned her. ICE subjects its prisoners to all kinds of […]

This is how boosts from Bluesky look in my web browser. I have to be a mind reader to know whether it's worth clicking through to that post, which is often a link to something else.

Even as it offers a bit of useful context, the Associated Press adopts Trump regime propaganda, calling the military occupation of Washington, DC, a "law-enforcement surge" -- language that is both a lie and one-sided.

A perfect example of how Big Journalism bends its knee to power.

In Trump’s second term, the New York Times has completely normalized fascism.

The "paper of record" is an escalating disgrace to journalism.
