Alpha Male: Full of bugs, glitchy performance, logic not completed = not ready for the public
Beta Male: While better than the Alpha Male and the logic is mostly complete and obvious bugs are resolved. = ready for a limited roll out
Prod Male: Fully tested and end to end logic completed = GTG

I ran a undead invasion arc in the Forgotten Realms organized by the Red Wizards of Thay. They found a powerful ritual that quickly spiraled into self reinforcing cycle of undead rising up and attacking the living world. The arc ended with the the physical manifestation of death appearing.

For the Vampires there are two models that are related, first is the feudal warlord (or former warlord) who stays young by drinking the blood of their enemies, second is the vain glorious version that is more late feudal or post feudal that is more interested in living off the population.

Awesome! I like the way in mythos how they separated the fully insane Gobbo (likely from starvation) from the Dwarf who is not completely insane and is probably somewhat supplied but don't be messing with my gold!

Zombies and Skellys? These are peasants (or slaves) that are forced into service generally by debt (long hours w no rest is the reason for the appearance)
Gobbies and dwarves? These are generally wild cat miners in various stages of going insane from either protecting their gains and/or getting food

I have found a great way to give more life to BBEG in adventures, go back to the origin of the mob. Dragons? Wealth feudal land lords who horde resources. Vampires? Much more of a post feudal Victorian lord obsessed with vain pursuits and living forever.
