My 6th Graders have been bugging me to play Christmas songs, which I refused to do until December. Today I explained Whamageddon to them and they all agreed they could TOTALLY avoid "Last Christmas" until Christmas Eve. I then played "Last Christmas."
They're mad at me now.

TOP TIP: When you get a wrong number phishing text messages, play along for a while, then when they push to know your name, location and age, tell them you’re from the area code they’re pretending to call from and that you’re name is a non-gender specific one… and you’re 14. Gets quiet real quick.

I live within the city limits of my small town. I think it definitely counts as the ‘downtown’ area. In the six or so months of living there, in my yard/street there have been: a Peahen; a deer; a fox; a mama raccoon and three kits; numerous fat squirrels; a couple of skinks; a small rat snake;
