I’ve actually saved a bunch of pics of it at the time they had shown it off! It’s my favorite Spyro mascot costume for sure. I should probably post them here on Bluesky lol

Toei had actually done the first 5 episodes and the early intro of the 80s cartoon. After that they outsourced their production to several other studios. But yeah the Toei designs are recognizable by how prominent their beaks are (with the line going down the middle).

It’s actually one of the reasons why I like seeing the Toei-animated designs from the 80s cartoon. Japan really knew how to draw the Ninja Turtles in the way I want to see them.
