Kudos and comments are so powerful, such a good (and easy) way to improve someone else’s day
I was in the verge of a breakdown this morning, then I checked my email and saw my fic got a new comment — and the pure JOY that overcame me pushed away the bad thoughts and helped me feel okay again :D

Anyways, here’s a little snippet from it for #wip Wednesday
The staff’s going around getting things ready for the evening. Some are cleaning, some are restocking the bar, and a few others are setting up the equipment for the show. He looks around and notices that most of the people working are young adults, wearing their wild haircuts and metal chains as a badge of honor. The t-shirts with the bar’s logo printed on them don’t even look like a uniform. Some of the employees cut them into muscle shirts or crop tops, and a few of them are now tie-dye instead of their original black. Every person has their own unique style and scent. No one is really wearing blockers or neutralizing colognes. It’s a completely different scene from the corporate world Steve’s so used to. /This place must be a sensorial nightmare on a crowded night./ He thinks to himself, praying that he survives through the day without getting a migraine.
