Let's listen to science and trust science when it's convenient (rockets, cell phones, internet, vehicles, medicine) but just not when it will interrupt the use of our rockets, cell phones, internet, vehicles, medicine. Capitalism truly is the root of the problem.

That is the problem. They do for themselves not the people who they are supposed to be representing .
Not ONE of the 8 folks who rolled over…truly believes they did the best thing for the country. They do not. They are lying straight to the camera. They are all pretty comfortable believing…they did the best thing…for themselves, though.

Communicating why a 50 year mortgage costs more, overall, than a 30 year mortgage should not be a hard task.

The problem is the average American is both functionally illiterate and innumerate, as a deliberate result of decades of the policies made by the very people pushing for 50 year mortgages.

More fun with Trumpy numbers.

He's floated sending $2,000 checks to every household, "except rich ones," whatever that means, financed by tariff revenues.

It would cost $265 billion. Tariff revenue since Liberation Day has totaled $151 billion.

Bit of a shortfall.

NEW: The government is about to reopen. But the legislation involved does nothing to extend expiring “Obamacare” subsidies, meaning the problem at the heart of the fight hasn’t gotten better. If anything, it’s about to get worse.

Here Is How an Obamacare Deal Might Actually Work
A compromise on subsidies is possible—but not if Republicans are determined to resurrect their repeal agenda.
