SecKC October was another banger!! We got a bit deeper on Meshtastic radio, we learned how easy it is to abuse certs in a highly sneaky stealthy way to own an organization, and Ohm-I was lights out fantastic, enjoy his track Clickin’, which he performed last night!! #SecKC

Braised a pot roast with carrots and onions (and garlic, rosemary, thyme, bay leaves, beef broth) all day whilst in Webexes, the house smelled glorious. Whipped potate, reduced the jus. Easy peasy, warm in my belly.

Short rib grilled cheese! We make this one at least once a month. Braised the short rib for 6 hours in caramelized mirepoix, red wine, and beef stock. We usually reduce the jus for dipping but it was too greasy this time after we strained out the veggies. Still delightful.

Sesame chicken and chicken lo mein! Had a bunch of chicken thighs that needed to be cooked. Was the crispiest chicken yet, definitely using the final step wet batter from now on.

I’ve been determined to get to a higher veggie ratio when we cook. This is my most favorite way to eat veggies, stir fry on the Blackstone, hibachi style. I still have the hot sauce recipe from my favorite hibachi place of all time, so I made a fresh bottle! Makes good leftovers, too. #saturdaynight

Great week with the Hypershield incubation team in San Diego!! It’s always so lovely hanging with folks you get to work with from all over the world but rarely see in person. We’re a small team doing big things!! Ready to be home with my bearded better half and doggos. 😊

Lovely date night/dual birthday dinner at Ocean Prime KC. Food was delightful as always, and when I asked if the dry ice from another cocktail could be applied to my espresso martini because I’m easily entertained, the server smiled and made it happen.
