It was super slow (as always), but a nice view from the hill!

I am, thank you. 😂

I think it must be a good sign for wildlife in general (even though the small birds will surely disagree) if large birds also come to visit us, mustn't it?

A BoP made me step into a deep and rather icy puddle of water on yesterday's run. I had never seen one so close to me before and didn't mind my step. 😂

Finished that run with a wet foot, but it was a beautiful bird!

Ouch. But, um, how?! Not while running, I hope?😅

Get better soon!

Ugh, how annoying!

How sweet that this student wrote an e-mail. That's so rare.

Hope the rest of the week will be better for you!

Sorry to hear you're struggling. I do need lots of light myself. Hope you can get some rest and find an easy solution to the lack of light. 🤞🤞🤞

Exactly 🤣

It took me the better part of a year on Bluesky to notice it myself. I mainly use it when people get excited and post a lot about what they're watching. I don't watch sports (I typically don't even know the teams that are playing) and I don't have Netflix either.

Thank you. Sewing does require a certain amount of frustration tolerance. 😅 I love the scent of wood when you work with it, though I rarely do these days.

Misread 'hike' as 'bike' and wondered what you were up to. 😂

A hike is lovely indeed. ☺️

Well done! 👏 What a nice way to end the year.
December 1, 2025 at 8:39 PM
Thank you! ☺️ Hope you don't have to shovel too much more snow. As pretty as it looks... I don't like the work that comes with it one bit.
December 1, 2025 at 8:34 PM
Going slow while cycling sure is an additional challenge!
December 1, 2025 at 5:00 PM
Not me! I've just been at work, that's all. (But I'm always fairly quiet anyway. 😅)
December 1, 2025 at 4:59 PM
Ugh, I'm so sorry to hear that. What a weekend for you.
December 1, 2025 at 4:57 PM
Oh no. Sounds like you really need that run. Hope you felt better afterward!
December 1, 2025 at 7:56 AM
You most certainly are not alone in this. My husband is right there with us, too, even though his family loves Christmas.
December 1, 2025 at 7:54 AM
Great job! 👏
I'm not a fan of the holidays either...
November 30, 2025 at 8:12 PM
Ugh, that's very bad timing. 😞

Thanks for the chuckle - the trees look so stunning, I almost missed the lamp post!
November 30, 2025 at 3:27 PM
Other runners must love me! I'm super slow and don't take up much space, so I'm super easy to overtake. This holds even for those in the 70+ age bracket who are out for an easy run. 🤭

I feel like my threshold zone is actually a little higher than the training plan says. The plan is based on max heart rate. The threshold zone in a different app based on my heart rate reserve feels more accurate.
