Just received this photo from a friend of a warehouse in Kinshasa. These are tuberculosis medications--ALREADY PAID FOR--that aren't being distributed due to the Trump Administration's stop work order.
TB treatment is being interrupted in SO many patients around the world. What does that mean? (1/2)

The sudden and illegal elimination of all US aid personnel worldwide immediately reduces US soft power. It makes Americans less secure, everywhere.

Economists have shown that pro- and anti-American attitudes are directly shaped by aid given in time of need.

Journalists. Please. Too many of you are going to call this a tax “on Colombia”.

It’s a tax on Americans. All Americans who ever drink coffee. Or buy cut flowers.

A tax. On Americans.
Nearly all coffee consumed in the United States is imported, and the largest source of that coffee is Colombia. Trump is putting a 25% tax on our top source of coffee, and that tax will be passed on to American consumers
BREAKING: Trump orders 25% tariffs on all goods from Colombia after 2 deportation flights were rejected
