Interesting. I actually agree with their decision because they have pissed off the entire world, and continues to invade itself… probably not a good time to shuffle things around as there is a massive red target on the US for a plethora of reasons.

Hm… why not defend from the inside out? Attackers can be anywhere. (whether state sponsored via cloud/von/proxies or just local threat actors who are feeling enraged or desperate enough)

I would love more tightly and modern (fast, steady, clean) interconnected rails. Both in cities and from each city to one another (like Hamilton to Auckland should really be an hour or so not 2.5 each way).
