Unrelated to romance but I like how in nearly any other industry this line would be eyebrow-raising, but in biotech we are like 'yep this just in water is wet':

"The biotech company currently loses money and analysts expect additional losses while its drugs are still in development."

As a former field researcher, I can confirm this.

I got out not because of the danger, but because of how frustrating it was to get statistical significance for your studies because half of your field project would disappear.
