Thanks for this! I’m in the middle of an absolute comedy of errors in Thanksgiving preparedness but between this and your review of La Boca that I read earlier I’m buoyed.

In the post-college apt. that was my now-wife and my first time living together, that Thanksgiving just as we were getting the turkey out of the oven the heating element started sparking and burning down as if a firecracker fuse. Doubt we’d have adjusted as well as you if it’d have been earlier.

Usually it’s some combination of bread, celery, carrots, maybe mushrooms, maybe some sausage … ran out of room earlier for this but I’d take Google (maybe turn off the AI first to avoid hallucinations) for a spin and see what suits ambition/taste/budget

American here and not sure how far down this rabbit hole you want to go, but stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, some sort of veg (green beans in my house), maybe something with sweet potato, pumpkin pie for dessert … again, just one guy’s opinion
