Is that our DSKY? This semi-sacrilegious and unsettling painting of Neil Armstrong by artist Kyle Allen has Marcel's DSKY on it. Even more unsettling, it shows it lighting up and showing 1202, just like in our video, but way before the video was filmed. Are we manipulated by the Matrix?

Panel 12 on the BOOSTER console has basically one light for each ascent event on this chart:

One more console draw up, BOOSTER. That's the flight controller that was in charge of the Saturn V. Many buttons and indicators on this one. My fav panel is 12 on the upper right, 72 indicators with each step of the ascent. Full details and hi res on Patreon: www.patreon.com/posts/apollo...

Here is a good view of the flight director's console during Apollo 13, with Gene Kranz looking at Fred Haise in a live video on the large Eidophor screen. This must be a few minutes pre-accident, which happened just after the end of the live video.

And here is the Flight Director console. It's one of the simplest ones. It just has the status report of the other flight controllers and some special abort buttons. High resolution picture and details on how it worked available on Patreon.

This is FIDO's console, Flight Dynamics Officer, a flight controller in the MOCR control room. He can send only two commands to the spacecraft, but these are important ones: Abort A and Abort B. That's the switch with the red square on the bottom right, on Panel 16.

This is Console 74A, next to console 73A. This is the CCATS Command Controller, who supervised and assisted flight controllers about to send commands. He is all powerful, and can send any commands to all vehicles and their computers (Saturn V, CSM, LM and Lunar Rover), except for an Abort.

Here is Console 73A, were the computer "load" was transmitted to the remote tracking site, and the requesting flight controller console was linked to the tracking site for final uplink decision. This Console was in CCATS, the Communications, Command and Telemetry System control room.

I'm redrawing the Apollo control consoles with the correct buttons, in preparation for my next video(s). Soooo many buttons! Here is Console 49A, where data for later uplink to the AGC (know as "loads") was prepared.

Hi res pic and details of how they worked on Patreon.
