Do you use advent calendars for counting down to something besides Christmas? We've heard some good ones--counting down to wedding anniversaries, Hanukkah countdown (though that start date has already passed us this year), and more.

Snow day! We hear that schools are closed, and with the icy conditions on the roads, we've decided to all stay home nice and cozy with a book. See you tomorrow when the roads are cleared!

Every book is a surprise! We've just wrapped a ton of new Blind Dates with a Book--wrapped up so pretty you could grab a couple for a White Elephant/Yankee Swap & might want to take your own present home! We've also got mystery bundles (which could hold a mug, a puzzle, a book, & other fun items!).

New Book Tuesday has arrived again, with some fun books for everyone. A new Sandra Boynton book will pair well with her other books (come pick up signed copies of her holiday book & album, Cows & Holly, while supplies still last!).

It's not pretty, but we have WORKSPACE now in the back room! Big thanks to friend of the store Rodrigo, who helped us set up our new computers from the grant, and brought this desk up from the basement, left by the previous tenant.
