I’m not a big fan of most traditional Thanksgiving foods, so I’m always up for trying something else.

When Lauren and I were living in Michigan and Texas and too far away from family to do Thanksgiving we always did a big breakfast instead.

I think my family does it at noon, mostly because my grandmother used to insist that it be at noon and would refuse to do it at any other time, either as the primary meal preparer or as a guest.

I’m all for boosting accessibility, but at a certain point we need to acknowledge that creating music is a skill and there’s just no way around putting the time in to learn it.
