Here is an actual t-shirt that FIFA is selling for the World Cup.

It very well may be the worst t-shirt of all time.

As an alum, I'm proud of JHU right now.

Meanwhile, I remain eternally grateful that my stint as the token conservative columnist for the school paper was just before digitalization, because that particular columnist would have had an embarrassingly different take.

Related, how long until Trump "fires" the three liberal justices?
I think most of my feed is in agreement that the next Democratic president needs to pack the Supreme Court, but it's just dawned on me today that, given current standards, they'll be able to do so unilaterally without waiting for Congressional approval.

I'll volunteer to hide a Democrat or two in my Austin-area home.

I'm semi-serious about this.

Yes, you can, and must, hate those dismantling democracy on behalf of a wannabe dictator.

Don't know why but this is reminding me of the time I had Empire Today visit to give estimates for carpets and blinds. The salesman noticed I had a dog and asked how old. She was oldish by then. One of his selling points became your dog is going to die soon and become incontinent in the process.
1-800-GOT-JUNK shows up and I ask for an estimate. He shows me a total (on his phone) and I can see pricing by item. I mention they price by volume and he gets angry. He then says the extra $ is actually labor. I ask to see that too (rate and time). He says he can't e-mail an estimate...

Ironically, this is in fact a concept I learned in Con Law way back when, when a liberal professor shared the philosophy of a liberal justice.
