Prologue:
Yesterday, Rep. Howard signed on to a letter that should lead to questions about his professional ethics.

How can the people of Stonington be sure he will enforce the Trust Act, a law which he has sworn to uphold, after joining in on this letter?

France referred to J6 as "the rally" and had nothing to say about what happened in Minnesota.

He's going to have to be more consistent on this topic before anyone takes him seriously.

He could've just called for calm and civility instead of saying any part of this. Do better, MAGA Mike.

Political violence is never the answer.

The CT GOP put out an acceptable statement, but two of its leading figures jumped to conclusions that invite further trouble.

We thank those CT elected officials who have responded properly, and demand the Conservative Caucus follow their lead.

If your Rep is in this picture, ask them what their caucus motto means to them, and why they still support what's going on.

For CT Legislators!

The New London Day apparently fired longtime opinion columnist Dave Collins over this piece.

But it got published and is making the rounds anyway.

It's not too early to talk about this.
In CT:

1) Con Caucus Chair Craig Fishbein and Rep. Doug Dubitsky helped sue to overturn post-Sandy Hook laws.

2) This year, the Caucus (again) put up 5 bills which could bring us closer to disaster.

They want us to be more like MN.
They must not succeed.

An excerpt from Mike France's interview with the CT Examiner, which ran today.

He also praised the President's policies and the Cabinet members during an Elci appearance last week.

So he thinks the administration is "successful".

You don't really need to know anything else.

Third time, still no charm.

If you are in the Second CD and have not visited with us, let's chat! One of the biggest things we can do to fight back is keep him out of office.

Every one of the District's 65 towns can play a role. Let's go!

This one? This was his X cover photo.
He changed it to the new Columbia-Class sub.

But if you look at his Facebook cover photo... 🤭

Well, shoot.

After two full quarters without filing to run again, we thought Mike France had given up on running for Congress.

Looks like the other potential candidate must have dropped out.

Here we go again! Stay tuned!

His original FEC filing appears to link him to the Sunrise Movement, a group who have a hard spot for older people in office.

One can form a reasoned critique of Joe Courtney, but this makes it looks like his campaign has very little to do with Courtney, besides his age.

At events...

NEW: Matt Corey launches bid for CT LT Governor.

Corey lost to Sen. Chris Murphy last year, after winning the Primary over the endorsed candidate, Gerry Smith of Beacon Falls.

This solidifies a fully MAGA, primary-proof top spot on Row B next year.

Yesterday, the Conservative Caucus "pinned" 2 new members.

We previously reported that Rep. Jensen joined the caucus. Rep. Canino has also joined.

These additions bring their "active roster" up to 12. There are also at least 6 who are not "active", but still in the Assembly. 1/2

The Day no longer regularly covers Ledyard, despite being just across the river.

For a story of great import to its residents, and rich in detail, nuance, and viewpoints, the Day sent...

An intern.
And the RTC did not hide its tracks.

Normally, the Conservative Caucus makes a big show out of adding new members. Not this time.

Sometime in the last few days, Rep. Jensen (131st, Naugatuck, Oxford, Southbury) joined team MAGA. You can see his pin here.

We wonder if folks in those three towns know what he's up to.

Rep. Dauphinais is at it again.

But according to the House Minority Leader, it's only bad when Democrats do it.

The post on the right is from today. And it's just calling for a rally to support homeschooling...

What signs are you bringing out?
