A group of activists keeping an eye on extremist legislators in CT, starting with our own former state rep! DM us if you are represented by a Conservative Caucus member!
Representative Ryan worked hard for Montville, Norwich, Bozrah, and Ledyard for over 30 years. He was a model legislator and fearless advocate.

He will be sorely missed.

Time for a motion to vacate the Speaker position!
Rep. Khanna: The Speaker looked frazzled. I think he has just totally lost it. He's attacking the bill, and he's not showing up to hear survivors. Then he's voting for a bill he criticized. He tells Thune, 'go amend it' and Thune ignores him. He's lost the confidence of half the people in his caucus

We've seen this before: One candidate will seek and get the President's endorsement, and handily win the Primary.

Fazio should just pack it in and save himself the trouble.

Don't agree? Talk to Themis Klarides.

Since 2024, at least one member of the Conservative Caucus (Steve Weir, R-55) has claimed that "the number of housing units we are short in CT" and "the number of illegals in CT" is the same, without providing any evidence of a link between the two.

Any excuse to support the MAGA agenda.
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

Rep. Mastrofrancesco (R-80).
Conservative Caucus member since 2019.

There are over a dozen other Caucus Members in the House, too. Is your Rep one of them?
As the Epstein and Trump news continues to get worse and worse, CT Republicans still love their "great president."

This is precisely why the Conservative Caucus in CT's legislature puts in a bill for this almost every year.
The issue with “voter ID” isn’t the ID. It’s which IDs are allowed and who gets blocked. Gun licenses count but student IDs don’t. Tribal IDs don’t. Millions of eligible voters, seniors, students, low-income workers, get shut out. If it were about security, every gov-issued ID would count.

This year's Municipal election results - especially in eastern CT - means it's very unlikely the GOP will put the Second CD on its "Target List".

Without the aid that being on the list brings in, Mike France will (once again) have a very uphill climb next year.

Fact Check: True. Back in 2021, the Conservative Caucus hosted an "informational forum" to give voice to vaccine deniers. It has only gotten worse from there.

France referred to J6 as "the rally" and had nothing to say about what happened in Minnesota.

He's going to have to be more consistent on this topic before anyone takes him seriously.

He could've just called for calm and civility instead of saying any part of this. Do better, MAGA Mike.

This is commendable.

Now the CT GOP needs to follow through and demand get the Conservative Caucus in line. Some still have inflammatory posts up.
A joint statement from CT Dems chair Roberto Alves and CT GOP Chair Ben Proto:

Political violence is never the answer.

The CT GOP put out an acceptable statement, but two of its leading figures jumped to conclusions that invite further trouble.

We thank those CT elected officials who have responded properly, and demand the Conservative Caucus follow their lead.

It's not too early to talk about this.
In CT:

1) Con Caucus Chair Craig Fishbein and Rep. Doug Dubitsky helped sue to overturn post-Sandy Hook laws.

2) This year, the Caucus (again) put up 5 bills which could bring us closer to disaster.

They want us to be more like MN.
They must not succeed.

If you are in charge of an elected official’s social media, listen up!

Every single press release should be a social media post, and the vast majority of social media posts should also be press releases. You want local print media to cover the story just as much as you want influencers to do so.
