Yes, it’s challenging.
I’m hoping for a #LOTR adaptation that starts with Gandalf’s return to the Shire, looking for Frodo’s ring. This intriguing plot point, plus the following flashback scene, could reveal the ring’s history without compromising Tom Bombadil’s role in the story.
