Aren't micrometeroids travelling way way faster than bullets though?

Sorry, 'thinks' is the wrong verb. It doesn't think at all, because it is an LLM, a point I try to make clear in the novel. It's more that its config/system prompt contains its name, and everything else is a hallucination from there on out.

I tried to do a unique take on AI in my sci-fi novel by creating a completely deranged LLM-like entity that thinks it is the gestalt consciousness of the Rapa Nui people, simply because its name (MoAI) was written as an uncapitalised string in its config file.

Similarly, I did not know that the Russian word шезлон / 'shyezlon' was actually just a transliteration of the French word 'chaise lounge', as in Australia, they are just called beach chairs. Only found out when I asked my French ex why she was using a Russian word to refer to these things.

Note that 'intact buildings' are just those that are mostly intact as seen by a satellite. This does not mean they are undamaged or habitable.

In addition, some of the tent camp detections around Rafah are likely erroneous.

Yep, basically, they are the ideological descendants of Deep Ecologists.

I intentionally didn’t make nuclear winter (much) of a thing in the background setting of my novel as I still needed climate change to turn Central Europe into a subtropical rainforest and raise the sea levels by 50-odd metres over 5 centuries. I did make UV a huge problem though.

I later discovered that it’s just a terminal moraine not a dam 😬
