Chocolate chip cookie supremacist.

Used to repair MTA transit radios, then built NYC skyscrapers, now do quantum computer things in Zuid-Holland (Best Holland).
First walk to CVS to pick up something and almost got run over with baby by a driver. She turned into us while staring at her phone.

She sped off as I broke her mirror. Didn't see us. Didn't stop. Instinct was run.

Frankfurt is the only airport I have ever had a nervous kid with a MP5 hold me for questions.

There is worse. (Foreboding music begins.)

Fun fact, in NYC a lot of buildings put the genset in an above ground mechanical floor, but the fuel tanks remain underground!

This was fun to discover during Sandy.

As weird as this question I am about to make is...

I wonder how much of this could be related to the fact that FDNY EMS has local "competition."

Meh, who cares if Mastercard, the Dutch government, and all their friends know about my rice and milk choices, my clothing, ball gags, gas station fill-ups.

Simply not that important.

I think since June of this year you can, even credit.

Been getting JetBlue points ever since.

Hi from the Netherlands. We are a cashless society. I don't miss cash at all, society is fine.

We even require a smartphone for easy access to government services. Society still functions.

Smoke detectors are universally required. I don't believe strobes and building wide annunciation was ever retro mandated for residential.

Little rusty but IIRC 125' is the typical norm. Certainly in electrical code.

75' is relatively rare in fire code definition (unless you weight the average).
