Sadly, I agree! So much promise, the time crunch was evident especially in episode 3, still not the worst adaptation of Ito’s work. That goes to the abomination that Crunchyroll put out a few years ago.
Now that all four episodes have aired, it's clear Uzumaki's long path to TV wasn't about quality assurance. After episode 1, the anime is plagued by minimal animation, bad compositing, and a rushed-through story.
