I was going through my Signalcon set earlier when I noticed I put the Gen Alpha funny numbers in before I even knew it was thing.
If you're an elderly millennial like me, you should know that 6,7 means the two eggs in Perkins' Magnificent Seven breakfast:

I'm guessing he has another MRI in March, unless he has ARIA (amyloid related imaging abnormalities) in which I would guess he has additional MRIs to make sure he's not getting microhemorrhages or excessive brain shrinkage.
If he's on anticoagulants, the risk increases.

Yes, you can build an interior like this.

Sweet time capsule I found today of a magazine all about turning your van into a swanky love nest.

But it's amazing. I'm going to get a lot of use out of it.

This cassette case style has it's label on the outside, and no room for J-cards, and occasionally the cassette falls out too easily, or too difficult, but there's just something I love about these side-loading cases.
And yes, I'm aware it's been 50 years today.

The cover is amazing. I love this aesthetic. The wood, the fern, the chunky appliances, the idea that a whole Pyrex(R) baking tray with a whole chicken and vegetables that you can all cook together in your microwave.

Back in 1976, they thought you could microwave a turkey. Check out these pics from a Microwave Cookbook:

This sounds like both a HIPAA violation and potential malpractice when the computer hears a slightly different medicine.

As an (autistic) kid in the 90s, I loved the McDonald's Monopoly game so I had to pick up this flyer for the 1982 version before they partnered with Parker Brothers.
I don't have a large-format scanner, so I had to stitch the tri-fold scene together.
And look, I won a free order of french fries!

I don't think I managed to read this one cover to cover. Instead I poked at it, stretched it, tried to unravel all the nuance and meanings in the narratives.
It showed me that everything can be described in patterns larger than itself, and as a pattern of smaller elements.

Seriously, I hadn't even tried out this TV I got for maybe $10 at an estate sale a few months ago & I just learned that the individual channels can be configured through this panel.
Meaning I can take that little "L-H" wheel and knock it just out of alignment that it glitches out. Glorious.

I think I found a new micro-hobby. This was created from my VCR's blank blue screen into a DIY AVE MOD video enhancer into an old CRT with those little fiddly dials that you can tweak the channel with.

I have a promo VHS of Nine Inch Nails' "Down In It (Shred)" which I haven't seen listed on any collector's sites. There's a low quality version on YouTube, and that's all I can find about it.

Check out this title card:

Can you explain this one @discontinuedfoods.bsky.social ?

It's an ad for "Rave," a snack from 1991 that looks like a flavorless wafer, one of several ads in this program that advertised to people who snacked too much.
