Reading the Jennifer Lynch book I think is genuinely really impactful and slots into the story perfectly

The Secret History of Twin Peaks by Mark Frost: This one is funny because it makes the old guy who dies from having sex in season 2 one of the most important characters not just to the show but to all of American history. Adds a good amount of depth to characters like Josie who didn't get much time.

The Autobiography of Dale Cooper: My Life, My Tapes by Scott Frost: more of a curio than the Laura Palmer book. Does introduce maybe the only Twin Peaks continuity snag in having Cooper investigate Teresa Banks, which is done by Chris Isaak and Kiefer in the movie.

The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer by Jennifer Lynch: this is UNBELIEVABLY good for a TV show tie in novel. If you read this it makes Fire Walk With Me work even better. Jennifer Lynch shoulda wrote more books

despite the incredible cover art and concept, the real takeaway from this album for me is the song The Only Way where Lake blames god for letting the holocaust happen

Dark Half by Stephen King: I see why this one is not well-remembered among his oeuvre lol. Like 50% of the book is people talking about something that happened in the first chapter when you as the reader already know what's going on.

when I taught freshman english from 2012-2014 for some reason tons of kids would all copy and paste the same essay they found online somewhere about Tip Drill and objectifying woman for assignments. As soon as you saw the word "Nelly" in that first paragraph...
