This is all to say, I am done with all my Thanksgiving grocery shopping which includes enough Emotional Support Cheese ™️ to feed an army of rats

True story I once asked my mom (retired hippie, met my father in a youth hostel in Amsterdam etc) what was the hardest drug she ever tried and she just got this far off look, sighed wistfully and said, “god. HEROIN.”

lol I could never come around to math because of the same reason, like I can understand basic algebra because I can see the application but higher math nobody will tell me where it comes from or why, it's like a mystic made up art but somehow a universal law? sure ok whatever you say nerds

My ceramics mentor has taught me so much over the past year but the biggest thing I have learned is appreciation for a tall foot and for a good foot in general. A lot of modern ceramics these days are footless, I used to prefer that but I have seen the light. ALL HAIL THE GOOD FOOT
