Not particularly at this point. Many issues and improvements were directed towards particular teams, e.g. URP, Netcode etc. Lots of validation went into Switch 2 support also, performance and capability.

I have similar thoughts. I do think something fishy is going on, and don't believe the overreaction I am seeing, it feels so over the top and manufactured almost.

Anyway, hardware / consoles need to evolve. And Nintendo are known for a hit and a miss. The Switch 2 will miss and not hit the heights of the Switch.

Switch 1 is a significant opportunity due to unit sales. Developers cannot ignore it even when the Switch 2 is available.

I understand the Switch is a pain to develop and port games to, but that hasn't stopped most, and the Switch 2 may well help in this aspect for developers at least.

You'll see many Switch 1 games ported to Switch 2, which won't drive sales IMO.

More power and graphics isn't everything to a consumer. Fun wins out over everything else.

I love my Switch for this reason. Although, I do appreciate the graphical elements in most games.
