Yeah there are a lot of legitimate criticisms of Florida, and I'm always here for nutritious dunking on the sunshine state, but people don't care enough to find out what to really make fun of us for and go for generic 'dumb, backwards, ignorant, republicans'. Y'all we have gators! Start there!

I will also say, Natalie Haynes Stands Up for the Classics is similar vibes but for adults and about ancient writers. If you don't mind some references to bad behavior and more obvious references to sex than Greeking Out, it's probably fine for kids.

There are so many great kids podcasts! If you're looking for educational, there's Wow in the World, Tumble, the Ten News, and the Past and the Curious. For more Greek Mythology, there's Live! From Mt Olympus which does a radio drama take on the stories

Have I mentioned that the team and I are starting another independent podcast? On an actual RSS feed? Hopefully launching in spring.

Okay this is something I need to take to my tech guy. At the least the image should have updated with the new logo.

Oh thank you for telling me! I know what's happening here and will fix!!
October 21, 2025 at 9:44 PM
We've put toppers on the episodes to let people know and changed the description but that's all we can do unfortunately!

Sigh... Just on YouTube for now. I'm hoping this changes in the spring. I'm unfortunately not the decider on that. I'm sorry!
