Weird fact about me: my biggest exposures to the Oz franchise so far have been Oz the Great and Powerful, the first Wicked movie, and the Muppets Wizard of Oz. I've never properly seen the Judy Garland film.

Today marks 2 years since I started seriously working on my character ideas and began writing Ocean Princess.

So it was only yesterday that I first heard about Princess Ozma from the Oz books, who's a trans girl and apparently a big icon for trans nerds.
I then remembered that Galaxy's earth home town is called Ozma Gap and thought "ohhh, that's who it's named after"
