I feel the people spreading this misinformation should be held liable as well. We have malpractice laws for doctors. But there's no cure for stupidity when people turn to online personalities rather than people who have dedicated more than a decade to achieving a baseline of medical competence.

To clarify, it is so hard to give these diseases to kids this age with any food that’s readily available in this country, and you’d really have to go out of your way, and these are very slow-to-develop, painful conditions that cause overt, outward signs of sickness and suffering for quite some time…
A 5-month-old baby died, & 3 surviving children, ages 2, 4, & 5, had to be hospitalized with rickets, osteopenia, vitamin D deficiency, & significant developmental delays bc their parents put them on “alkaline diets.”

Brute 1976 is a bit of a let-down to me. After movies like The Devil's Rejects and X raised the bar, this feels like a step back with the movie's allegedly brutal kills all happening off-screen or even more unforgivably - censored (WTF). This movie had potential but it needed a lot better pacing.
