I've been following this since the start of the year when they first started changing policy. But I don't detect what's new this week.

That was a mess. It’s embarrassing that Austria qualified for the finals and the U.S. couldn’t be bothered to show some heart.

I mean, I wouldn’t pick ADF because he hasn’t played a Davis Cup match in two years and he’s 1-5 in Davis Cup play.

Still, it’s a disadvantage to have four players. They may overcome that disadvantage, but it’s still a disadvantage.

I mean, cause and effect here. Ferrer chose to exclude ADF (twice!) and stick to four players (the only team to do so) and ADF was a little bratty.

But, to be clear, I didn’t mention ADF. I just said one less player. 😅
