Talk about technology, AI/ML, ethics, politics, language, etc. He/him.
Yeah. At least on Strava I can rename “Afternoon Ride” to “Super Chill Zone 2 Barely Even Trying” whenever I fail to hit any new PRs.

You should see him climb a tree, though. Up and down. World champion.

Reels seems amazingly bad to me compared to TikTok—even as an old.

I’m so sorry to hear that. Wishing you and your dad all the best.

It is so so good. I can’t even hate the theme song. I’ve watched it with my youngest while he’s been the last one at home. That song is probably going to make me really nostalgic someday.

Ah. I probably worry about economic leverage/concentration more than anything—exacerbating existing trends. However, I think that economic leverage will accrue more to people who know how to deploy capital than to people with meta cognitive skills.

I already hold Douthat in disdain, but this was next level dumb. I had to unfocus my eyes at times while reading it for fear the inanity might somehow infiltrate.

I was trying to figure out what the DemocratiC party was. The party specifically in D.C. was my working theory.

This is in turn childish of me, but I want to fight whoever is responsible for that.

I had to unfocus my eyes periodically while reading that article because I worried the dumbness might permanently infiltrate my brain otherwise. I couldn’t read it all. I don’t know how people can without their heads exploding.
