a concept sketch for a horror game project i'm working on
a concept sketch done largely in greyscale. it depicts a keyhole-shaped hallway that opens to a large chamber. a set of stairs leads up to a viewing platform with two figures drawn simplistically. one is on the steps and wears floor-length robes, his head replaced by a puff of flames. the other has a long tailcoat and a blade by their side, grin outlined in white as they reach to greet a mass of vibrant light and colour hovering in the centre of the chamber. multiple sections of the mass are patterned to resemble eyes or sharp toothy grins, and it reaches down to greet the figures.
