I had a blast celebrating with all of my neighbors and Derek Johnson this weekend and we couldn't have done it without the support and generosity of:
- Las Margaritas Mexican Cantina - Slingerlands, NY
- West Avenue Pizzeria
- Lo Nuestro Dominican Restaurant
- Allie B's Cozy Kitchen
THANK YOU!

What a weekend! I was truly humbled to see so many neighbors come out to support our Community Celebration with Derek Johnson.

Tomorrow morning, I’ll be heading to the polls with someone who means the world to me, my mom.

My mother didn’t have a high school education. She married young and faced more than her share of challenges.

This weekend, I was out across Albany, from Lincoln Park to Second Avenue and plenty of stops in between, talking with neighbors about what matters most to them.

I’m proud to have the endorsement of longtime union leader and Albany County Legislator Doug Bullock. Doug’s been on the front lines for working families for decades, and I’m honored to have his support in this campaign.

Gun safety isn’t a talking point for me. It’s a priority. I’m honored that our campaign has been recognized as a '25
@momsdemand.bsky.social Gun Sense Candidate. This distinction highlights my commitment to advancing real solutions that reduce gun violence & keep our communities safe.

I’ve had the honor of walking side by side with Miguelina Fabian while knocking on doors and listening to the people of Albany. She’s a true community leader, someone who shows up, speaks truth, and lifts others up. #ChangeCantWait #albanyny

I recently sat down with @news10.bsky.social to talk about something that matters to every family in Albany, public safety. As someone who has lived here my whole life, I know our communities deserve to feel safe and supported.

I sat down with Tom Eschen on WRGB's Power and Politics to talk about real solutions to public safety, housing, and how we build a stronger, safer Albany together. We also addressed the recent headlines and what it means to lead with both accountability and compassion.

Albany is ready for something new, and I’m grateful to have leaders like Councilmember Derek Johnson standing with me in that vision.

Derek knows what it means to serve our neighborhoods and stay focused on what really matters: getting things done for the people of Albany.

Today, we celebrate Juneteenth. This day marks freedom, but it also calls us to action to keep pushing for real equality, real justice, and real opportunity for everyone.

When someone who’s spent nearly 30 years in the State Assembly puts their trust in you, it means a lot. I’m grateful to have the support of former Assemblymember Steve Sanders, a respected voice for smart, effective leadership in New York.

Thank you to Roy Rojas and Damian Company, the hardworking owners behind La Polleria, Margarita City Mexican Grill & Bar and Las Margaritas Mexican Cantina in Slingerlands for standing with our campaign.

Join me and Councilmember Derek Johnson for a Community Celebration this Sunday, June 22, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the corner of Green and Bassett Streets!

We’ll have a live DJ, free food, and plenty of good energy as we connect with neighbors and talk about the future of our city.

The Filipino community has played a powerful role in shaping Albany, and I’m proud to have built real, lasting relationships with so many community leaders over the years. This endorsement from Sol Kapunan means a great deal because it reflects that shared history.

Early voting is happening right now and I’m still out here knocking on doors with my team, talking to neighbors, and reminding folks that change starts with your vote.
Don’t wait for Election Day. Make your plan, vote early, and bring a friend with you.
June 16, 2025 at 11:46 PM
Early voting is ON in Albany and I’m asking you to get out and vote today.

We’ve got a real chance to bring meaningful change to our city, but it starts with you. Vote early now through June 22 because Change Can’t Wait.

14% of registered voters in Albany, NY voted in the last mayoral race. 14%, yet 100% complain. We have a DUTY to our city and to ourselves, to vett and vote for leaders who align with our visions and our values. Watch the 10 minute interview with Corey Ellis. You'll be refreshingly, undisappointed.
I sat down with K.C. Kantz at WTEN to talk about the issues that matter most to Albany: jobs, housing, public safety, and how we build a city that we are all proud of. Check out the interview here: www.news10.com/news/albany-...

I’m Albany through and through, and I’ve never forgotten where I come from. This field is where I played softball growing up. When the city cut funding for the Arbor Hill Softball League, I didn’t sit back. I stepped up. www.youtube.com/watch?v=SC8E...

What a weekend! Albany showed up and showed out for Pride, and I’m proud to have been part of it. I’ve always stood with the LGBTQ+ community, and seeing the love, joy, and unity throughout our city this week reminded me exactly why that matters.

I'm proud to have the endorsement of my friend and former Albany Common Council colleague, Mike O'Brien.

Mike has been a dedicated public servant and advocate for our city for decades. He’s not only offered his support, he’s walked the walk, literally.
