Augh on the Fender! I played a Fender Precision bass in a college rock band for three years. To this day, I don't know how I got the gig; I'd never picked one up in my life. Talk about learning on the job--in front of an audience!

From middle- thru high school (1968-1973), I collected every issue of 𝑀𝐴𝐷 𝑀𝑎𝑔𝑎𝑧𝑖𝑛𝑒. When I moved out of the house, I left them in the garage to be picked up later. My mother threw them out without even talking to me about it.
