tl;dr #Waymo has been focused on the specific problem of road driving since 2009; no other autonomous driving service has nearly the same kind of testing depth and breadth.

That's not to say that other companies won't catch up, but right now I don't think anyone is there yet.

I doubt that they know that #Waymo has been road testing since 2009, and did its first autonomous ride in 2015.

They're unaware of the amount of testing and the quality of testing that Waymo has done and they're unable to compare that to the testing that other companies have done.

I don't think they know that #Waymo has been offering public rides since 2022.

I was chatting with someone who'd taken their first #Waymo ride recently, and mentioned that they hadn't tried the other companies yet. I was surprised, because I don't think I'd trust a ride from other services yet.

or rather today I learned that this type of spam is called backscatter.
Such an annoying type of spam!

Granted one may be in a highly regulated industry which restricted which tools you can use but if you are able to use collaborative tools but not comfortable doing so it would be useful to spend some time becoming comfortable

I know that it’s pretty uncommon in many industries in the US to use business cards. But it’s so simple and easy to hand someone a business card with all of your important info rather than be fumbling with an app or entering in email/phone info. #japanbusiness

I wonder if it's because the use cases for prescribed medicines tends to be urgent & important. Pharmacies in the US tend to be understaffed from what I've seen too. Another factor seems to be that the vaccination experience tends to be particularly bad and is driving down reviews.

Fortunately it looks like #google has an extended repair program in place for my phone; hope they're able to replace the battery for me! I will leave it to the experts

Both guides are rated as "moderate" difficulty but the phone battery replacement looks at least twice as difficult as the laptop battery replacement, and there's a high risk of damaging at least two parts. It also looks like the kit is missing 1 necessary screw bit 🤷

I do forget how limited the driving area was though; and some of the people I've been asking did not live in the driving range, so understandable.
