Probably a centre right liberal, depends on the topic.

Likes: individual liberty, exploring issues

Dislikes: Big government (except where it is the best solution), the morals of some imposed on others.

Striking geographic pattern for where parties have been winning principal authority council by-elections since May.

(The part of the UK cropped out hasn't had any.)

One might even says this... looks like a two-party system?

Although Starmer is now more critical of Brexit, he is still couching it in terms of it being implemented badly, rather than inherently unworkable.

This is a gift to Reform, and makes it clear that Labour's Brexit position, if it's shifting at all, is doing so with the speed of continental drift.

Hurrah! More pointless wasteful government spaffage. So glad that Labour turned out to be nothing like the Tories.

Another Russian shadow fleet oiler has been target. It is the M/T Mersin currently sinking off the coast of Dakar, Senegal, in Western Africa.

This is getting now absolutely threatening for the Russian oil flow. Russian oil has become quite toxic, far more than sanctions alone.

Not saying that the EU wouldn't show some caution, but our membership is at much in their interests as it is ours. Of course they want us back in.
It's not negative, it's realistic. Why would the EU take us back after 10+yrs of being insulted and the possibility of another tory/reform gov to leave again? My optimistic future is a closer relationship leading, eventually, to candidate and then full membership
