Really throws me off seeing Covid-19 being mentioned in a maths book, not because it's irrelevant to maths (great to have real concrete examples imo) but I'm just so used to maths books being written like 60 years ago

had an interesting problem where im using an open spec and talking to multiple services using this spec. it limits one parameter to 20 characters, but like, what does that mean? I would think that word.length (character count) would work but one service _actually_ counts character bytes instead 🥲

there are very few things i hate more than photos of myself but last week i officially graduated! joint degree of bachelor's + master's in computer science. over the moon that i pulled through some hard times mentally and physically to get here. still fighting some of those battles but for now be ☺️
