A series of fatal accidents on Mars make a stranded prison laborer wonder if the company _was_ cutting costs, or _is_ cutting costs.

I hadn't realised that the great, and now tragically late, Tom Stoppard had his thumbprints all over the script of what is one of my very favourite films.

But it also explains why I love it so.
Nine years ago Mike Fitzgerald wrote up an extraordinarily fascinating breakdown of the differences between the Tom Stoppard shooting script and the original Jeffrey Boam draft of Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade.

It's well worth your time: www.creativescreenwriting.com/indiana-jone...

The issue is, the opinions that Nathan Gill was paid to shill are the same opinions that Nigel Farage allegedly expresses for free.

Alan Milburn on WatO, talking about the mysterious rise in the number of NEETs in the last five years, often due to physical and mental ill-health.

Me, shouting at the radio: What happened five years ago, Alan? What happened? I can tell you if you've forgotten!

No one should own two houses before everyone who wants one has one.
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

Of all the people I'd have on a list to be plotting against Kier Starmer, I would never have put the moral-free vacuum in human form that is Wes Streeting on it.

Bond is the lost king of Gondor, smoking a pipe in the shadows of the Prancing Pony.
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

Ex-head of the UK Armed Forces saying that bad things that soldiers did in the past shouldn't be prosecuted.

I very strongly disagree. If soldiers are straight up murdering folk, then we need an investigation, and for those who did it, and those who ordered it, to be held accountable.

It was literally just last year, that I was driving to my mum's, and my son (dumb phone for reasons) called me up and asked which way he needed to go from Trafalgar Square to get to Paddington station.

Inevitably I was in a 4G desert, but had an ancient paper map, with Central London included.

Scrabbling to make sure that both Zoom and Teams still work on my computer.

Both are of the devil, of course, and I long for a time when a small boy arrives on my doorstep clutching a telegram, which he will hand over for a shiny sixpence.
