We said goodbye to our beautiful boy Sakamoto this afternoon. He'd had a brighter morning but deteriorated again very rapidly through the day. He went very peacefully, like he was just going to sleep.

So I'm woken up this morning by scratching at the bedroom door and it's this one telling me he wants his breakfast. I get up and he's following me round, slaloming between my ankles, headbutting ny shins. I fed him, he wolfed it down & went to happily knead his favourite blanket while purring away.
Sakamoto's condition has really deteriorated over the past couple of days. We think it might be his time ❤️

Racism aside, the problem with "it's not stolen, it's conquered" is that attitude is nothing but "killing you is an acceptable way to take your stuff" and I'm pretty sure that's bad. "I didn't steal your car, I conquered it" would, uh, not hold up at trial.
