The thing is that once everyone accepts the Falkland islander's sovereignty that science the CLCS accepted will also enable the Falkland's claims to the same bits of the seabed.

I was at Newcastle Poly in the late '80's and knew several people taking Russian who spent 6 months in various places.
As Linda's visit seems shorter maybe she was doing O or A level.
The numbers weren't huge so maybe there was a specific school near the northern line that taught Russian?
