Don't forget the Enterprise, the New Jersey, the Constellation (RIP), the Kongo, the Excalibur (also RIP), the Intrepid (yet another RIP), the...

The bottom ship looks like a Y-Wing, the top ones remind me of some of the word background ships from old Star Trek books. @wpmacmason.bsky.social

The follow up, Legend of Valkyrie, is one of my favourite arcade games. Weirdly enough, they're totally different settings, but the genre gameplay reminds me of Heavy Barrel or Airborne Ranger, but with a fantasy setting. I love the Valkyrie look, too.

Agreed, especially given that his fellow pedophile bosses eat like this:

I still like the MS-DOS version best (especially for the ground missions, and overall soundtrack), but I like how the 3DO port tailors to the console, and what it can and can't do, making for a unique and fun experience. I got a 3DO solely for this and Super Wing Commander!

In the sculpture, a man on horseback slays a dragon (as in the allegory of St. George and the Dragon). But here, the dragon—representing nuclear war—is made from and lies amid pieces of actual SS-20 and Pershing II intermediate-range ballistic missiles, which were destroyed under the INF Treaty.

Chang wouldn't have been involved with that? I figured he was a co-conspirator, along with Nanclus and Cartwright.

@icookfood2023.bsky.social the whole murder mystery of this story could be a galactic Dateline episode. :P

Thank you, and same here! It's basically everything I want in a Star Trek production.

Ever read the novelisation? I love that one even more, as it helps contextualize everybody's anger even more. Discovery season one does a good job of that too, despite my issues with it.

This gives me PTSD flashbacks of playing Falcon MC on classic Mac, and how Skywalker-esque it felt having to deliver several thousand pounds of bombs over to a nuclear reactor on the other side of the map.
