Hahahah I accidentally did this the other night, and didn’t realize until I was half-way through the container. They have valerian root in them too, so it was wonky dream city.

Especially between audio and visual stuff where there is some conceptual and theoretical overlap. Paradoxically, for me, that makes it easier for me to forget skills I special interest on for a short period — somehow gets lost in the soup!

Some of my favorite entertainers today are a few Vtubers, and honestly, attaching my music to a fictional character is something I thought about doing a long, long time ago — and brushed it off as silly and pretentious. OpSec challenges aside, I envy that a lot now though.

Self branding sucks. And in 20/20 hindsight I would have definitely stayed more anonymous — especially with gen AI and where a lot of things are at. I’ve never liked the idea of putting my face on things. And in all honesty, I find it distracting when it’s really just the music I want from others.

This. I feel pretty much the same. It raises the floor in some ways, but creates a huge upstream current. It’s a predatory, lowest common denominator solution to the old model that gives a degree accessibility for us ‘between the cracks’ introvert artists. A better one, but not a great one.
