Indeed. The solution to low carbon long distance travel has be to trains, not planes. More easily electrified.

Rainfall in the UK is increasing. That’s a fact. Graph below from the Met office. As the planet heats, more moisture is absorbed into the atmosphere which means rainfall increases. 2024 was the hottest year ever recorded.
