I got othered early on in school because of neurodivergence and being biracial. Being bullied sucks ass but it forces you to give less of a fuck about the approval of your peer group of boys, figure out what you actually like, and work on being actually interested in people without ulterior motives

what remote work and the COVID-19 pandemic revealed was how many of our workplaces had bad and/or outdated ideas about how to manage employees, and if they don't commit to fixing those things, it's not going to make an org's culture, collaboration, or product any better.
