*hydropedologist. I object to autocorrect as well, apparently

As a hydrogeologist, I must object to calling any soil "miserably gray".

My usb-c port on my Pixel 7 pro is about dead. Instead of getting a new phone I just got a bunch of wireless chargers. Problem solved for another year or two.

Also, my Windows 10 desktop that isn't W11 compatible will be getting Linux soon. Should I do Ubuntu?

Even then, it's only a half dozen different fraternal organizations that cause problems on 99% of campuses. It would be nice if IFC would police its own.

I have a small child and am working on scheduling hip replacements for both of my hips. I commute year round by eBike. I also do bike tours on regular bikes. Bikes enable me to get wherever I want to go. The only things that limit me are cars taking up space and drivers who can't drive safely.

Everybody is trying to get those papers in before annual evaluations, apparently

I haven't looked into the authors. I don't know them. I think they're soil microbiologists, so omitting soil classification is not surprising, tbh.

Also, if I had a nickel for every paper I reviewed for a high impact factor journal where the authors failed to include the soil classification for their study site, I could give the lounge bartender a great tip. BTW, "meadow soil" means literally nothing to me.
