This is good - there were worries that Switzerland, which has pushed back strongly (and very problematically) against the judgment, would manage to get this process closed again as soon as it started. Instead, looks like the Council of Europe and the other States want to see more from Switzerland.

and its reliance on a quantification, through a carbon budget or otherwise, of national greenhouse gas emissions limitations. It also requests more information on adaptation measures and procedural safeguards by the next supervisory meeting (September).

The decision, voted on by representatives of the Council of Europe Member State governments, notes recent legislative changes, but still want to see more details of domestic measures, namely on: the draft CO2 ordinance; the domestic methodology behind the legislative and administrative framework;

In it, the Ministers’ Deputies rejected Switzerland’s arguments that they’ve completed the implementation of the judgment already, and that no further monitoring is needed (whew!).
