I’m not seeing that here. Maybe I missed it. All I read in this article is
“He entered the United States in 2021 through Operation Allies Welcome, a program that evacuated and resettled tens of thousands of Afghans after the American withdrawal.”

Right. But what you wrote seemed to imply that he wouldn’t have been well when interviewees did asylum. And what I wrote is that he appears to have begun to show signs of being unwell (like talking those drives) in 2023 after being granted asylum in 2021. That’s all.

But they do also write that he started to unravel that he was unraveling partially due to his inability to assimilate. I do think there is a narrative of a sort being pushed, but they do clearly write that he had troubles once he was living in the US.

It all just raises the question: How much further can they paint themselves into a corner? This level of attack on nearly everything is not sustainable. These micro-attacks have all but lost their meaning to country at large.
