Basically me. I almost entirely stopped using streetcars. I take the green line to go east west and then bus north south or just walk. I can’t really trust streetcar anymore.

I don’t want to get rid of it. I want it fixed.

#StreetcarSummit Puhakka tells a story of his experience on the 506 College, and how a 3-leg trip using subway frequently makes more sense despite the much longer distance. Next question: "What are some solutions to the streetcar system's issues which could be implemented tomorrow?"

Not many will remember (or care to!) but it was the campaign of @[email protected] that saved the Finch LRT from the subway-subway-subway folks, who wanted to take the $ and build maybe 3 km of subway instead of the 10 km of LRT that is about to open. Better, faster service for many more people. https://coderedto.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/Finch_West_Light_Rail_Facts.pdf
