As I look at Spock, I can’t help but smile. There is just a special Toy Story-like feeling when you give actual purpose to something that’s been hiding away for decades.
Felt the same when I saw my older son playing with this #StarTrek play set I had been saving from my own youth.

Got some of the 12-year Kirkland Scotch. Good stuff at a great price, but the bottle is huge and ugly.
Couldn’t find a glass decanter, and then realized that I still had this #StarTrek beauty I got as a birthday present 40 years ago (my parents tried the brandy it came with and promptly dumped it).

I had a long-running exchange with Dan begging him to do a tee with the fantastic neon he did for DWright’s 2015 fist pump (I was there!). I wanted that for his retirement game. Unfortunately I think because his MLBPA deal lapsed, he wasn’t able to do it.
The only one of his neons I have is Vogey😂

I love Athlete Logos, Dan did an awesome design for a 2022 playoff pennant for me when the #Mets didn’t produce one for my collection, but I don’t think he has the licensing to use the official Mets logo like 7 Line does.

Funny you mention DWright, as here’s the tee I’m wearing today.
That said, as much as I love our Captain, he belongs in in the Hall of Very Good along with guys like Don Mattingly; players with HOF talent but broken bodies didn’t give them the longevity they needed.
He’s a legend, but not HOFer.
