While I'm glad it got removed, it doesn't make Amazon chill now. They only removed it because of the backlash, not because they suddenly developed a conscience. It pisses me off thinking about how much environmental damage generating 12 hours of AI voices must have done just to delete it all anyway.

While I'm glad it got removed, it doesn't make Amazon chill now. They only removed it because of the backlash, not because they suddenly developed a conscience. The American Library Association (ALA) made a fundraiser campaign #ForOurLibraries, individuals are able to make an account and join the cause to help raise money. I was on the fence of starting one, but now here it is. The campaign will remain open until December 31st.
